"Today I've Got Everything Ready"
The T.I.G.E.R. folder is a folder that your first grader will use everyday to develop organizational skills and learn responsibility. First grade is a foundational year, and it is important to teach children how to keep up with homework, tests, and important notes. This book is a way of maintaining effective communication between home and school. It aims to eliminate wrinkled papers in the bottom of the book bags, as well as keep parents and students informed of important events and academic progress. So if you want to know what " grrrreat" things are happening in Room 23, check out your child's T.I.G.E.R. folder everyday! The folder needs to be returned to school EVERY DAY!
Here is what you will find inside:
Front pocket: Homework & Notes Home:
Homework and papers that need to be "fixed" and returned, papers that need to be signed by parents etc.
Page Protectors: These will hold sight words and other helpful pages.
Back Pocket: Corrected Work:
Work we've done that you may keep at home.
Thanks for all your help, and here's to a GRRRRRREAT school year for Room 23!
