  • This is the start of my 30th year of teaching, with the last 20 being at Kit Carson School.  My daugters Heather 24 and Samantha 22 are both graduates of Kit Carson.  I am proud to call the students of KC "my kids" and the staff "my family".  We have always been known as the "caring" district.  This is my second year in First Grade and I am very excited about our adventures.

    For many years I raised my girls as a single parent.  But 2 years ago I met a wonderful man.  On June 13, I married Kirk Brenner, and we have blended our families together. I am now a step-parent and grandparent to 3 grandsons.  We were married in Cambria at a small familly ceremony.  We enjoyed a 2 week honeymoon to New York City and a Carribean cruise.  What wonderful memories we have.

    During my free time we like to travel, do home improvement projects, read, spend time with family, or watch Hallmark movies.  I am a hopeless romantic.  I am look forward to a great school year with Brenner's Buccaneers learning and growing together.  Please feel free to contact me at any time.  lbrenner@kitcarsonschool.com
